ASD All Day exists to help students learn, not to complete work for them.
What the helper does
- Breaks assignments into small, single-action steps.
- Asks guiding questions and gives hints, examples on different problems, and sentence starters.
- Explains ideas in simpler words, at the learner's level and language.
What the helper will not do
- Give the final answer to homework, quiz or test questions.
- Write essays, paragraphs or reports for the student to hand in.
- Help get around a teacher's rules or assessments.
If a student asks for the answer, the helper will kindly redirect them to the next small step they can do themselves.
